Logotherapy Practice Module
In the center of a large circle, two chairs face each other, with one for the simulated patient and the other for the simulated therapist. This setup provides a practice arena where making mistakes is not only allowed but encouraged – because it’s through errors that we learn best.
Together, we engage in role-playing therapy conversations for various scenarios. One of the 5 days is specifically dedicated to practicing couples therapy following Lukas‘ method.
Granted, it can be daunting initially to take a seat in those chairs – but very quickly, any nervousness fades away, and the group becomes a familiar and supportive circle, collectively exploring logotherapy in practical terms.
Our practical units, supervision and conversation training, are available only after successfully completing at least four semesters of foundational theoretical studies. This ensures that students have the necessary theoretical foundation to fully benefit from hands-on practice.

I literally soaked up the videos. Viktor Frankl was a genius and is a great role model for me! Dr. Schönfeld explained it well and supported it with very instructive and clear cases from patients from her practice or from Elisabeth Lukas.

Like mobile working, mobile learning can be done from anywhere. Logotherapy has never been so easy to learn.
A wonderful alternative to podcasts with people's most human question: How can I live meaningfully?

The videos have wonderful didactic clarity. But they require concentrated listening. More difficult learning content offers the opportunity to watch it repeatedly as well as to pause the lecture for deeper contemplation. The presentation by Dr. Schönfeld takes place in an approachable liveliness. There's no other way to say it. The videos are a substantial tool if you want to delve deeper into logotherapy.
